Aishaetu Loree Gullattee has been passionate about clothing design since she was a small child. Though she was a pre-engineering major in high school, the fashion bug never left her. She went on to Howard University’s School of Fine Arts, and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Fashion Merchandising.

Though her education gave her a variety of options, it is the love of design that is her first. In pursuit of her dream, she left her home in Washington DC and moved to Charlotte NC, and after working out of her home for years, she finally opened Tutu’s Boutique in 2012.

Ms. Gullattee, known to her customers as Tutu, designs and crafts every creation herself. She insists that each item she produces is flattering and durable. Each stitch and embellishment is applied by her hand. She appreciates each of her customers and believes that each deserves the best from her.
